Through unique educational and cultural exchange programs, USEFP allows Pakistanis students to study, research, and engage with international students, scholars, and professionals in the United States.
Fulbright is the flagship scholarship program of the United States, which now offers 12 months of lectureship, post-doctoral research, or a combination of the two at a US College or University.
Students selected are expected to share information about Pakistani society and culture with students, colleagues, and community groups in the United States.
The USEFP funds the Fulbright-HEC Scholarship under the Policies & Regulations of Fulbright. The Fulbright Scholarship covers tuition, required textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan HEC manages this scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
Males and females across Pakistan with strong academic careers residing (throughout the process) in Pakistan and committed to returning and serving Pakistan may avail this opportunity.
Individuals from various fields of expertise, including scholars, professionals, and artists, are encouraged to submit their applications, except clinical medicine. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. or an ultimate degree pertinent to their respective fields.
Accepted candidates should exhibit strong proficiency in both written and spoken English. They should present a coherent and articulate plan outlining their intended achievements in the United States and their connection to their contributions in Pakistan.
The proposal holds paramount importance within the application process. Individuals seeking a lectureship role must have proven teaching capabilities within a university environment.
Females, disabled persons, and students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, AJK, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Northern Sindh, and Southern Punjab are highly encouraged to apply.
