The Cuban Government has announced new opportunities for Pakistanis to study in Cuba with Scholarships offered by the Government of Cuba (Cuban Government Scholarships 2023-24).
The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan releases this notification on its Official Twitter Account. Pakistani students searching for Scholarships must apply through.
This Scholarship is offered in the field of Medicine. So, medical students should apply for MBBS Course. Students from Pakistan and AJK are applicable; they will be selected purely on merit.
The Scholarship will cover Tuition Fees, Hostel Accommodation & Toiletries, Food (as per Government Rules of Cuba), and contribution to living expenses as a monthly stipend.
The Cuban Government funds this scholarship; hence NO additional financial responsibility will be on the part of the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan, in any case.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 70% or above marks in F.Sc. /A level (Pre-Medical) & 60% or above marks in SSC/Matric (O level).
- Result awaiting candidates are not eligible to apply.
- All Pakistani/AJK nationals aged between 18-25 years as of the closing dates of application are eligible to apply.
How to Apply?
- The HEC Scholarship portal will receive online applications at https://scholarships.hec.gov.pk/#/auth/login.
- The deadline for online receiving of applications is 31st August 2023.
