Currently, the Islamabad Electric Supply Company has announced an advertisement to hire young, energetic, qualified, and motivated individuals as Assistant Lineman ALM, Driver LTV, Driver HTV, and Assistant Sub Station Attendant.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates having domicile of Kotli, Rawalakot, Palundri, Bagh, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal for this recruitment. Quotas for Minorities and Children of Employees are reserved as per WAPDA’s Rules.
Candidates holding domicile of Kotli, Rawalakot, Palundri, and Bagh are only eligible for Assistant Sub Station Attendant Jobs. Interested applicants who want to apply for this recruitment of IESCO must reach the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria demand Matriculation and relevant skills.
Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Lineman Jobs
Candidates having Matriculation can apply for ALM Jobs 2022 in IESCO. Candidates who fill the educational requirements should also meet the physical requirements mentioned below.
- Qualifications: Matriculation Only (Minimum & Maximum)
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years
- Medical Category: A
- Height: 5 Feet 4 Inches
- Chest: 32 Inches
- Weight: As per the body mass index chart BMI
- Running: 800 Meters in 5 Minutes
- Pushups/Dundas: 20 in Single Attempt in 3 Minute
- Lifting of Weight: 30 KG in Single Attempt
- Digging: 1 Ditch of Lenth, Depth, and Widht (2 x 2 x 2) feet
- Climbing Skills: Tower/Ladder up to 10 Feet Wearing Safety Equipment
- Pulling of Wires: In one span of 100 feet
For the post of ALM, No overqualified candidates other than the prescribed qualification are allowed for recruitment. Other higher qualifications would be considered as disqualification at any stage.
Government servants are advised to apply through the proper channel. Dismissed employees of any organization or having a criminal record are not eligible for employment in IESCO. Candidates awaiting their results and the candidates for whom the final marks sheet has not been issued shall not be considered.
