Company Introduction:
Pakistan Rangers is a paramilitary federal law enforcement agency in Pakistan, operating under the authority of Pakistan’s Home Secretary. Their main goal is to secure and defend critical locations in the country.
However, they are usually involved in primary internal and external security operations with the Pakistani military to maintain law and order against crime. And provide support to local police forces, terrorism and unrest.
“Rangers” is an umbrella term for Pakistan Rangers – Punjab and Pakistan Rangers – Sindh (colloquially called Punjab Rangers and Sindh Rangers, respectively), which has its former headquarters in Lahore, Punjab, and the latter center in Karachi. Pakistan Rangers are responsible for protecting Pakistan’s international border with neighboring India.
The Punjab Rangers patrol 1,300 km (810 miles) along the border with Pakistan’s Punjab province, while the Sindh Rangers patrol the rest, covering about 912 km (567 miles) along with Pakistan’s Sindh province. Both forces operate under their separate commands and wear separate uniforms.
