The Kashmir Premier League (KPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league that was founded in 2021. The league consists of six franchises. Five teams are representing five major cities of Azad Kashmir while one team is representing Kashmiris overseas.
Teams play in a single round-robin tournament in which the top four teams qualify for the playoffs and ultimately the finals. In August 2021, it was announced that Kashmir Premier League matches do not have official T20 status.
