Only unmarried male citizens of Pakistan may Join Pakistan Marine Academy as Nautical (Deck) & Marine Engineering Cadets. Interested young, talented, energetic, and dynamic individuals are invited to get admission to Pakistan Marine Academy. Candidates should follow the requirements demanded by the Pakistan Marine Academy to apply.

Join PMA Eligibility Conditions:

• Only Male Applicants are eligible.
• Applicants should be unmarried.
• Age should not be more than 20 years.
• Candidates must have passed FSc Pre Engineering or O/A Level with Subject Combination (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) having at least 55% marks.
• Candidates of O/A Level are to submit an equivalence certificate.
• FSc/A Level Part-II candidates with at least 60% in Part-I can also apply.
• Part-II appearing candidates have to provide Hope Certificate.
• If applicants fail to get 55% marks in Part II will be disqualified.

Training & Degree Certificates Awarded:

• 2 years of residency training will be conducted at PMA.
• Associate Degree in Nautical Science and Marine Engineering by NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi.
• Certificates of IMO recognized Pre-Sea Mandatory Courses.

• Prospectus and Application Forms are available on the PMA website.
• Submit Application Forms along with a pay order/bank draft of Rs. 3000/- in favor of Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi, National Bank of Pakistan (PMA Branch Code 0239).
• Candidates applying under Self Finance Scheme must submit an additional pay order/bank draft of Rs. 300,000/- along with the application form.

Selection Procedure for Merchant Navy:

• Entrance Test at Multan, Abbottabad, Gwadar, Karachi, Lahore, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi & Sukkur.
• 45% Marks are required to qualify for the entrance test.
• Medical Examination
• Final Selections
• Running: 1.6 KM in 8.30 Minutes
• Push-ups: 10 in 2 minutes
• Sit-ups: 10 in 2 Minutes
• Chin-ups: 2 in 2 Minutes
