The Diamer Basha Development Company is seeking applications from highly qualified, dynamic, and enthusiastic individuals for the appointment to the vacant seats. We got this vacancy notice from the Daily Jang. It is also posted on the WAPDA’s website at www.wapda.gov.pk.

The DBDC intends to appoint an Independent Director (Female) to its Board of Directors as required by the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules 2017. CVs are invited from professionals having the following abilities:

• Professional/Expert/Consultant with a proven track record of serving in a senior position, preferably more than 25 years of experience in mega construction projects of the public/private sector.
• Professional Accountants/Financial Consultants with proven records and experience in the large public/private sectors.
• Corporate Lawyers having work experience with Construction Projects.
• Successful Entrepreneurs who have set up/run private sector corporate businesses in Pakistan.

Interested female candidates must have their names registered with the Databank of Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance PICG (www.picg.org.pk) as per Section 166 of the Companies Act 2017.
