Teachers Required for TALEEM Programme in South Punjab: As a Potential Teacher under the TALEEM Programme, you will play a crucial role in bridging the educational gap for Out-of-School Children in your community. This part-time position involves teaching basic literacy and numeracy skills to young learners, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, and contributing to the educational development of South Punjab.
Programme: TALEEM – Directorate General of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education
Location: 05 districts of South Punjab (Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, Muzaffargarh, R.Y. Khan & Rajanpur)
Remuneration: Rs. 12,500/month
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: 18 years & above
- Gender: Male/Female/Transgender
- Qualification: Minimum Intermediate (higher/professional qualification will be preferred)
- Domicile: Punjab
- CNIC: Compulsory
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Visit the department’s website at https://literacy.punjab.gov.pk/ for registration.
- Candidates must register a minimum of forty (40) Out-of-School-Children (below primary level) aged between 8 to 14 years in their community.
- Watch the Video Tutorial available on the department’s website for guidance during the registration process.
Appointment Details:
- Teachers will be appointed purely on a part-time/timetound/honorary/contract basis for one (01) year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance.
- Selected teachers will need to arrange a suitable room within the Union Council for the establishment of the learning center.
