Today, the Survey of Pakistan has announced an employment notification for Pakistani Nationals which appeared in the Daily Jang titled ” Government Vacancies at Survey of Pakistan Online Application Form | www.sop.gov.pk”.
Survey of Pakistan (SoP) employs its highly professional and trained staff spread across the country to collect, develop and provide geographic data using total stations, GPS, digital photogrammetry, and map digitization. Data is presented in the default GIS data format i.e. in addition to the format specific to the ESRI Shapefile client system.
The SOP provides a range of services in traditional and multimedia digital cartography to produce high-quality maps for its clients. Types of maps include topographic maps, thematic maps, guide maps in any projection, and coordinate systems. SOP also has a printing press with traditional and advanced CMYK printing techniques.
