Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center (SKMCH & RC / SKMCH) is a cancer center located in Lahore and Peshawar, Pakistan. This is the first project of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust, a charitable organization established under the British Indian Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. It is the largest tertiary care hospital in Pakistan.
The hospital was founded by Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician and current Prime Minister Imran Khan. The idea to build a cancer hospital came after his mother, Ms. Shaukat Khanum, was diagnosed with cancer in 1985. During his mother’s illness, he also saw the plight of poor cancer patients in Pakistani hospitals and felt the need for special treatment for cancer. Center in your country. All Senior Instructor positions for Karachi and Peshawar involve working in Lahore for two years, followed by two years of training overseas. All applicants for Senior Instructor positions need to have passed the IELTS test, or an acceptable alternative, at the appropriate level.
