PSCA Introduction:

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority, established under the Punjab Safe Cities Ordinance 2015, is an independent government body to improve public safety and security in Punjab.

The project aims to create a safer environment for residents, businesses, and visitors by leveraging technology to prevent and respond to crimes swiftly and efficiently.

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority has announced six recruitment advertisements. Here, we described both advertisements and provided the details of current openings and application procedures.

PSCA will recruit the staff through its Recruitment Committee and the National Testing Services of Pakistan NTS. So, the procedures for recruitment will be described in each advertisement. All the current vacancies advertisements are posted below and on the PSCA website.

Punjab Police PSCA Vacancies:

PSCA has announced careers as Senior Communication Officers, Police Communication Officers, Chief Technical Officers, Chief Information & Security Officers, Deputy Chief, Executive Officers, Deputy Executive Officers, Assistant Executive Officers, Junior Executives, Supervisors, Chief Administration Officers, SSP, SP – IC3 Operations, DSP, etc.

More than 500 positions are available for residents of Punjab, including Minorities, Persons with Disabilities, and Women Quotas. Selected Police Officers will be offered attractive salary packages.

Applicants with BCS, BBA, BS, MBA, MCS, MSc, Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Primary, Middle, Matriculation, or Equivalent Qualifications from recognized institutes may avail this career opportunity.

Criteria for Police Communication Officers

Candidates having BCS, BBA-IT, BS Telecom, MBA-IT, MCS, MSc IT, or IT related 16 Years of Education may apply.           The age limit for Males is 21-25 years, and for Females is 21-28 years. At least 30 WPM typing speed is compulsory. They must be proficient use of MS Word Office.

The selected candidates must submit and furnish a surety bond to serve in the Authority. Government employees shall apply through the proper channel. PSCA is an equal opportunity employer. Women, minorities, and persons with equal needs are encouraged to apply.

The employer requires applications for the above vacancies through Online Platforms & Offline (Courier/Postal Services). Interested applicants who wish to apply should forward their applications online at www.psca.gop.pk/career. Online applications should be received by 15th August 2023. A signed Online Application Form with all necessary documents should also be submitted through the postal services to the PSCA, Lahore.

For Police Communication Officers:

1. The employer wants applications through the National Testing Services NTS.
2. So, candidates are requested to apply directly on the NTS website at www.nts.org.pk
3. The NTS will receive applications through both methods, Online & Offline.
4. After submitting the Online Form to NTS, applicants should submit a print of the Online Application Form with the attested copies of supportive documents through the courier services to the NTS.
5. Candidates who are working in Government Departments are also eligible.
6. The deadline to Apply Online through the NTS website is 10th August 2023.
