PEC Introduction:
The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is a professional body that approves regulations for engineering education and the engineering profession in Pakistan. It was established in 1976 by the PEC Act 1976. The Council also registers engineers and professional engineers and licenses engineering firms in Pakistan to consult and build/operate.
The Pakistan Engineering Council represents the engineering community in the country and supports the Government of Pakistan at the federal and provincial levels. It also serves as a think tank for the government and seeks to establish scientific standards for engineering innovations and services.
It is headquartered in Islamabad and has regional branches & liaison offices in major cities of Pakistan. The council became a temporary member of the Washington Accord in 2010 and was added as a full member in 2017.
In 2011, it became a temporary member of the International Professional Engineer (IntPE) Agreement (IPEA) and a full member in 2018.

PEC’s current career notice will hire applications to recruit an Senior DirectorFinance, Assistant Registrar, and Public Relation Officer. Interested persons from Pakistan are eligible for this recruitment if they fulfill the qualifications and experience requirements.
Senior DirectorFinance
- Qualification: CA, ACMA, Masters degree in finance, MBA or minimum of 16 years of relevant qualification
- Experience: Minimum 17 years post-qualification experience in relevant positions with a minimum of 05 years of experience
- Age Limite: Maximum 50 years
Assistant Registrar
- Qualification: B.Sc. Engineering from HEC/PEC recognized HEIs, with required Computer literacy.
- Experience:01 to 02 years of experience is preferable.
- Age Limite: Maximum 35 years
Public Relation Officer
- Qualification: Master in Journalism or equivalent (16 years of education)
- Experience: 01 to 02 years of relevant experience desirable to reputed Government/ Public/ Private Organizations in the field of ralation.
- Age Limite: Maximum 33 years
