The Federal Board of Revenue is a federal taxation agency responsible for the inflow and outflow of financial funds through standard sources. It existed as the Central Board of Revenue even before the independence of our beloved country.
The Federal Board of Revenue is subordinate to the Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance. It is responsible for all types of tax evasion and operates through regional and major taxpayer units across the country.
Under the federal government, the FBR has planned a healthy basic salary according to the scales and it offers almost twice as much as any other government agency with authority and bonuses. Health insurance and annual bonus salaries are the benefits that FBR employees enjoy.
This FBR Advertisement has announced career opportunities as Sepoy, Data Entry Operator, and Driver. A total of 950 vacancies are opening including Sepoy Jobs, Data Entry Operator Jobs, and Driver Jobs.
These positions are opening in the Directorate of Law & Prosecution (Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar), Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Customs (Peshawar, Multan, Quetta), Directorate of Customs Enforcement (Multan, Quetta, Peshawar), Collectorate of Customs (Gwadar), and Directorate of Transit Trade (SOST, Gwadar, Quetta, Peshawar & Karachi).
Eligibility Criteria:
Sepoy Jobs 2022:
Pakistani Citizens having Matriculation may apply for Sepoy Positions, but they should also fill the physical requirements. The age limit for Sepoy is 18 to 30 years. Both male and female applicants are eligible. The minimum height for male applicants is 5 feet 6 inches and for the female is 5 feet 2 inches.
Data Entry Operator Jobs:
Candidates who are 18 to 30 years old, have 2nd Class or Grade C Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Science/Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Economics from a recognized educational institute and speed of 10000 key depressions per hour on a computer may apply for Data Entry Operator Jobs.
Driver Jobs:
Primary pass candidates having a Valid Driving License and well-versed in the traffic rules may apply for Driver posts. The age of the applicants must be between 18 to 35 years.
Physical standard (height, chest measurement along with any other physical tests that the Recruitment Committee deems necessary i.e., Running, Push-ups, Chin-ups, etc) for the posts of Sepoy will be conducted for pre-screening of the candidate.
Female candidates will also have to undergo Physical Standard. In the running test, male candidates will have to cover one Kilometer distance in 7 minutes while female candidates have to cover one Kilometer distance in 10 Minutes.
