The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan abbreviated as TDAP is a part of the Ministry of Commerce and Textile Industry of the Government. It trades and promotes international trade in Pakistan. The state was established in November 2006 as the successor organization to the Promotion Bureau under the Export Ordinance, which was established in 1963.
TDAP is solely responsible for maintaining a unified approach to trade development for the promotion of exports – in collaboration with 14 regional offices, working on global cooperation and regulatory work in this regard. Also provides supply-side and marketing assistance to exporters.
