The selected candidates will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the railway infrastructure in their respective departments.

Contract Period: 1 Year

About Us: Pakistan Railways, Headquarters office in Lahore, is seeking applications for the appointment/engagement of retired supervisory staff from the Civil Engineering Department and Signal Department. This is a contract-based opportunity for a period of one year.

Vacant Positions:

Civil Categories:

1. PWI/Gr-II (BPS 16) – 15 Vacancies
   • Eligibility: DAE/Civil or Higher Education
   • Experience: 10 years in the relevant field
2. AWI (BPS 30)
   • Eligibility: DAE/Civil or Higher Education
   • Experience: 10 years in the relevant field
3. A1FX (BPS 11) – 4 Vacancies
   • Eligibility: DAE/Civil or Higher Education
   • Experience: 10 years in the relevant field

Signal Categories:

1. SE/Signal (BPS 16) – 5 Vacancies
   • Eligibility: DAE/Electrical or Electronics
   • Experience: 3 years

Eligibility Criteria:

• Maximum age limit: 62 years.
• Only candidates who have previously worked in the above categories will be considered for contract appointments.
• Selected candidates will receive a salary according to their last pay drawn, along with applicable allowances.
• The selected candidates will not be entitled to gratuity and pension.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
2. The number of posts may be subject to change without prior notice.
3. Selected candidates will be required to pass a medical fitness examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital.
4. Candidates who retired compulsorily, were removed, dismissed, or retired on medical grounds are not eligible for appointment.
5. Call letters will be issued only to eligible candidates for contract appointments.
6. No TA/DA will be provided for interviews and medical examinations.
7. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere within the entire Railway System.
